It’s funny how you feel so sad today, but then get too happy the next. Roller coaster of emotions, like what they call it. I’m just glad that God loves me so much, through all my days of weirdness and insanity. I have a God who knows what’s going on with my life. A God who lives and not bound by place and time. A God who has eyes that see and ears that hear. God who is ever present, One that don’t need to be carried around wherever I go. He’s not just a sticker I put in my bag or a print on my shirt. Not just a picture on a wall frame, not even a wooden or ceramic statue. Days, months, almost a year has passed and I’m here. Staring at the clear blue sky, waiting for something. 365 days had passed, it was quick but I don’t think that it was the most amazing year. Well, the year hasn’t totally gotten over yet, still have a month and a half to go.

I’m thinking of what lies ahead. I’m not worrying about what tomorrow brings cause I know what I should be doing and where I should be going, I just don’t know yet, how to get there. Still I’m believing, trusting and full of hope that next year will be filled with new things. No one wants to stay the same forever. I don’t want to be the same girl I’ve known my entire life, next year. New things are coming my way. And I’m preparing to be well prepared for next year. Read more »

I was looking and looking and then I found Him. When I look at the clouds, the works of His hands display His glory. How majestic is our God? How awesome is He? When I watch the stars and the moon dance around in perfect beat, when I hear the winds sing in the most beautiful melody. How great is our God? How awesome is He? I don’t mean physically. There are times you feel alone, even when in the midst of a crowd. Behind the smiles, the waves and hellos and the laughters, there’s weariness inside. I don’t want to turn out to be someone who entertains negative thoughts. I’m not pessimistic either. But there are just times when confusion, frustration, tiredness and weariness, all fall out at once on you, pushing you deeply to the ground. I feel so low. I… I think too much. It’s all about me. I never thought song writing would be this hard. I used to write songs for my mother when I was younger. Like really young. My mother was my number 1 influence. She loves singing and I’ve grown up with music everywhere. She used to have me sing ABBA songs. That’s when I started writing my own songs. They sounded like ABBA. Well, the very amateur type. Lol.

But as I grew up, I learned to hate writing. Especially when I met literature and all its complications! I stopped writing. I have evolved into more of a talker than a writer. But there still were times in my teenage life that I’d break into a song and sometimes would write it down. I know. Too much HSM. More like Phantom of the Opera.  Read more »
